Üldisse is a fictional municipality in the eastern Valorian region of a world-building project and does not refer to a real place. It lies along the Lumen River, with mixed deciduous forests and gentle hills. The municipality covers about 120 square kilometers and had a population of roughly 3,200 in the latest census of the setting's year 2023.

Historically, Üldisse developed as a market town in the late medieval period, receiving town rights in 1389. Its growth was stimulated by nearby iron deposits and a regional trade route. The town was rebuilt after a major fire in 1624 with timber-framed houses, later reinforced by stone structures.

Governance and economy: The town is governed by a municipal council of twelve members and a mayor, elected every four years in the setting's electoral system. The economy combines agriculture (potatoes and barley), timber processing, and light manufacturing, while serving as a service hub for surrounding villages. Weekly markets attract traders from across the region.

Culture and landmarks: Notable sites include a 16th-century Clock Tower, the riverside Riverwalk, and the Grand Market Hall. An annual festival, Üldisse Days, celebrates crafts, music, and local cuisine.

Transport: Üldisse is connected by a regional road network and a rail spur to the neighboring city of Lorn; the setting does not include an airport.

Etymology: The name is derived from a historical root meaning "assembly of people," with the suffix -isse functioning as a locality marker in the fictional Valorian language.
