õhkkäituspumpad
õhkkäituspumpad, also known as air-operated pumps or AODD pumps (Air-Operated Double Diaphragm pumps), are a type of positive displacement pump powered by compressed air. They are widely used in industrial applications for transferring a variety of fluids, including chemicals, slurries, wastewater, and viscous liquids. The operation of an õhkkäituspump relies on a simple yet effective mechanism involving two diaphragms, one on each side of a central manifold. Compressed air is alternately directed to one side of the manifold, pushing the diaphragm and expelling fluid from the attached chamber. Simultaneously, the diaphragm on the other side is pulled back by a vacuum, drawing fluid into its chamber. This reciprocating motion creates a continuous flow.
A key advantage of õhkkäituspumpad is their ability to handle solids and abrasive materials without damage,
