Ülivõrgustik, also known as the Supergrid, is a theoretical concept for a large-scale, interconnected electricity transmission network designed to span vast geographical areas, potentially across continents or even globally. The primary objective of a Ülivõrgustik is to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of electricity supply.

Key features of a Ülivõrgustik typically include the ability to transmit electricity over extremely long distances with minimal loss, often utilizing high-voltage direct current (HVDC) technology. This long-distance transmission capability would facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources located in remote areas, such as offshore wind farms or solar power plants in deserts, into the main power grid.
