Yciowy is a river in the northern region of the fictional nation of Novaria. The name derives from the Yciowic language and is traditionally translated as “silver current.” The river originates in the Taran Range and flows southeast for about 86 kilometers, passing through the towns of Brighthollow and Lumenvale before discharging into Zephyr Bay. Its course includes broad floodplains and several wetlands that contribute to the surrounding landscape.

Geography and hydrology

Yciowy runs through mixed forests and agricultural valleys, largely temperate in climate. It hosts a range of habitats along its banks, including riparian woodlands and marshy edges.
