Växelkontakt is a Swedish term that translates to "changeover contact" or "transfer contact" in English, commonly used in electrical engineering. It refers to a type of electrical switch contact that has three terminals: a common terminal and two other terminals. The common terminal is designed to be connected to one of the other two terminals at any given time, but not both simultaneously. This arrangement allows the common terminal to switch its connection from one circuit to another.

The primary function of a växelkontakt is to redirect electrical current.
