Värvituvastus refers to the ability to perceive and distinguish between different colors. Humans typically have three types of cones, each sensitive to different wavelengths of light, corresponding roughly to red, green, and blue. When light enters the eye, it stimulates these cones to varying degrees, and the brain interprets these combined signals as a specific color.
