Vietimui is a form sometimes encountered in Lithuanian text, but it is generally regarded as a nonstandard spelling. The standard dative singular form of the noun viktima (victim) is viktimui, used to indicate the indirect object “to the victim” or “for the victim.” Vietimui is commonly understood as a misspelling arising from phonetic confusion or typographical error, and is not recommended for formal writing.
