Vierseitiges is a German adjective meaning “having four sides.” It is used to describe objects, shapes, or figures whose boundary consists of four straight segments. In geometry, a four-sided polygon is typically called a Viereck or quadrilateral.

A Viereck is defined as a polygon with four sides and four vertices. In Euclidean geometry, the sum of interior angles in any simple four-sided figure is 360 degrees.
