Vergeaaside is a fictional mineral species described in speculative geology, mineralogy literature, and worldbuilding guides. The name derives from the Verga Range, a fictional mountain belt in the northern continent of Novaria. In these works, vergaaside is presented as a hydrated aluminosilicate that forms under low-grade metamorphic and hydrothermal conditions.

Typical properties are reported as colorless to pale blue crystals, with a vitreous luster and a monoclinic crystal system. Habits include prismatic to tabular crystals that may occur in aggregates. On the Mohs scale, vergaaside is described as 6, with a specific gravity around 3.2 to 3.6. Cleavage is imperfect in one direction, with parting along other planes. It is described as transparent to translucent.

Geologic occurrence is fictional: vergaaside is said to form during metasomatic alteration of basaltic rocks in hydrothermal environments and is often found in shear zones of the Verga Fault. It is typically associated with chlorite, serpentine, scapolite, and magnetite in the narratives where it appears.
