Vegetácia refers to the plant cover of a geographical area. It encompasses all plant life within a region, including trees, shrubs, grasses, herbs, and mosses. The type and distribution of vegetation are influenced by a complex interplay of environmental factors such as climate, soil type, topography, and the presence of animal life. Climate, particularly temperature and precipitation, is a primary determinant, leading to broad vegetation zones like tropical rainforests, deserts, temperate grasslands, and boreal forests.
