uzatib

Uzatib is a word form in Uzbek grammar derived from the verb uzatmoq, meaning to pass along, forward, or transmit. It functions as an adverbial participle (gerund) and is used to connect actions, indicating that the action expressed by uzatib is the means, manner, or sequence by which the main clause unfolds. In this sense, uzatib can convey “by forwarding,” “having forwarded,” or “while forwarding,” depending on context.

Form and usage

The root uzat- combines with the suffix -ib to produce uzatib. This participle is typically employed to link two clauses, where the first action is performed in order to affect the second, or to describe the method by which something occurs.
