Urogenitaalinen refers to the combined urinary and genital systems of an organism. These systems share anatomical proximity and often developmental origins, leading to their grouping. In humans, the urinary system consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra, responsible for producing, storing, and eliminating urine. The genital system, also known as the reproductive system, includes the gonads (testes in males, ovaries in females) and associated ducts and organs that produce gametes and facilitate reproduction.
