A tuletusmootor, or internal combustion engine in English, is a heat engine where the combustion of a fuel occurs with an oxidizer (usually air) in a combustion chamber that is an integral part of the working fluid flow circuit. In an internal combustion engine, the expansion of the high-temperature and high-pressure gas produces mechanical work by the movement of some part of the engine. This mechanical work is often used to power a vehicle, a generator, or other machinery.
