tulajdonosé
Tulajdonosé is a Hungarian possessive form derived from the noun tulajdonos (owner). It functions as a determiner meaning “the owner’s” or “owner’s,” and is used to indicate that the following noun belongs to the owner. The form is part of the broader Hungarian system of possessives, where ownership can be expressed either by suffixing the possessed noun (e.g., háza = his/her/its house) or, in some constructions, by placing a possessive noun in the genitive form such as tulajdonosé before the possessed noun.
The suffix -é attaches to a noun that denotes the possessor to create a possessive determiner. When
- A tulajdonosé háza a kerítés mellett áll. (The owner’s house stands next to the fence.)
- A tulajdonosé jogok védelmet élveznek. (The owner’s rights are protected.)
The use of tulajdonosé can be extended to other owner-nouns to express similar relationships, such as tulajdonosé
