trematados
Trematodes are a class of parasitic flatworms belonging to the phylum Platyhelminthes. They are also commonly known as flukes. These organisms have complex life cycles, often involving multiple hosts, typically a mollusk and a vertebrate. The adult trematode resides in the digestive tract, lungs, or blood vessels of the definitive host. Reproduction is sexual, and eggs are passed out of the host, usually in feces or urine.
In the intermediate host, typically a snail, the eggs hatch into a larval stage called a miracidium.
Trematodes are found worldwide and infect a wide range of animals, including humans. Significant human diseases
