transportate
Transportate is an English verb with the meaning to convey, bear, or carry from one place to another. In modern usage it is virtually obsolete and is rarely encountered outside historical or scholarly texts. Contemporary writers typically use transport (as a verb) or transportation (as a noun) instead of transportate.
Etymology: The word derives from Latin transportare “to carry across,” formed from trans- “across” and portare
Usage: In earlier English, transportate appeared in the sense of physically moving goods, people, or creatures.
