torjata
Torjata is a term used in a fictional flora to denote a small evergreen tree species native to the highland forests of the Neridan archipelago. It is treated as a monotypic genus, containing a single described species, Torjata montana.
Torjata montana grows to about 5–7 meters tall, with a slender trunk and a dense, umbrella-like crown.
The species is endemic to cloud-forest habitats at elevations roughly 900–1500 meters, preferring well-drained volcanic soils.
Torjata montana is used locally for light timber, craftwork, and a resin obtained from the bark. The
