Another method utilizes device recognition, where the system verifies the user based on the characteristics of the device they are using, such as its unique identifiers, operating system, and network information. Push notifications to a registered mobile device that the user can approve or deny are also a form of tokenless authentication, as they don't require the user to manually enter a code from a separate token. Behavioral biometrics, which analyzes a user's unique typing patterns, mouse movements, or navigation habits, can also serve as a tokenless authentication factor. The goal is to simplify the user experience while maintaining robust security.
