Thermosesethartsilla is a genus of lichenized fungi in the family Tuckermannaceae. The genus is characterized by its distinctive foliose thalli, typically gray or greenish-gray in color, and variously shaped pseudoparaphyes. Thermosesethartsilla species are often found growing on bark or other woody surfaces in temperate or boreal regions.

Thermosesethartsilla was described by Norwegian lichenologist Per Magnus Jørgensen in 1988. The genus name is derived from the Greek words "thermos," meaning heat, and "ethartsilla," a hypothetical suffix denoting a lichenous thallus. Two species are currently recognized within the genus: T. floridana and T. thallincola. Thermosesethartsilla species are relatively rare and localized in their distribution, often found in areas with slight to moderate exposure to sun and moisture.

One notable characteristic of Thermosesethartsilla species is their ability to form ectomycorrhizal relationships with certain tree species. This association facilitates the exchange of nutrients between the fungus and its host tree, potentially enhancing the ability of the fungus to photosynthesize. Additionally, the pseudoparaphyes of Thermosesethartsilla species feature a complex internal structure, sometimes exhibiting a number of biologically-generated pigments that contribute to the organism's tolerance of varied environmental conditions.
