tenido

Tenido is the past participle of the Spanish verb tener (to have). It is used primarily to form perfect tenses with the auxiliary haber, as in he tenido, has tenido, ha tenido, hemos tenido, and han tenido. These forms express possession or experience in the past, as in “He tenido un día muy largo” (I have had a very long day) or “No he tenido tiempo” (I have not had time).
