Tehonkäyttötilat refers to power usage effectiveness (PUE) in Finnish. PUE is a metric used to measure the energy efficiency of a data center. It is calculated by dividing the total amount of energy consumed by a data center by the energy delivered to the IT equipment within that data center. A PUE of 1.0 would represent perfect efficiency, meaning all energy consumed is used solely by the IT equipment. In reality, data centers consume energy for cooling, lighting, power distribution losses, and other auxiliary systems. Therefore, a PUE value is always greater than 1.0.
