Taunøytrinos are hypothetical fundamental particles that are considered to be the tau lepton's corresponding neutrino. Like other neutrinos, they are expected to have very small mass and no electric charge, interacting only through the weak nuclear force and gravity. The tau neutrino is the most massive of the three known neutrino flavors, with an estimated mass significantly higher than that of the electron neutrino and the muon neutrino.

This oscillation implies that neutrinos have mass, a discovery that has significant implications for particle physics and cosmology.
