Tataricus, also known as the Tataric language, is a member of the Kipchak branch of the Turkic language family. It is primarily spoken by the Tatars, an ethnic group native to the Volga region of Russia, as well as in Tatarstan, a republic within Russia. Tataricus has a rich history, with its earliest known texts dating back to the 15th century. The language has two main dialects: the Kazan dialect, spoken in the western part of Tatarstan, and the Mishar dialect, spoken in the eastern part.
