Tarenulstilling is a term used to describe the removal of publication nodes, known as tarepunkter, in Norwegian folklore. These punkter were believed to be small stones or pieces of metal that were left behind by the Elven Smithies of old. According to myth, the elf smiths would leave these tarepunkter in the forest, often in the form of small cairns, to mark the boundaries between different areas of the forest.
