Talmai is a figure mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as the king of Geshur, an ancient kingdom described in the biblical narrative. He is identified as the father of Maacah, who was one of David's wives and the mother of Absalom and Tamar, making Talmai the grandfather of Absalom.

In the biblical account, Absalom fled to Talmai in Geshur after killing his half-brother Amnon, and he remained there for a time before returning to Jerusalem.
