The earliest known reference to Szczegóów appears in historical records from the late 15th century, when it was mentioned as part of a feudal estate owned by the noble Krasinski family. Over the following centuries the settlement remained primarily agrarian, with its inhabitants engaged in crop cultivation, livestock rearing, and modest craft production.
