Sulttaanit were a Finnish pop-rock band formed in 1997. The group consisted of Tuomo Prättälä on keyboards, Henrikki Vahtera on bass, Markus Lyytinen on guitar, and Mikko Kaakkuriniemi on drums. They were known for their energetic live performances and a sound that blended elements of rock, funk, and soul music.

Sulttaanit released their debut album, "Sulttaanit," in 2000, which gained some traction in the Finnish music scene. This was followed by "Levylaulut" in 2002 and "Kaikki on hyvin" in 2005. Their music often featured catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics, exploring themes of everyday life and relationships. The band achieved moderate success in Finland, with some of their singles charting on domestic music lists.

Despite their efforts, Sulttaanit disbanded in 2007 after their third album. The members have since pursued individual musical projects. Tuomo Prättälä, in particular, has had a notable solo career and has also collaborated with various other Finnish artists. Sulttaanit left a mark on the Finnish indie music landscape of the early 2000s, remembered for their distinctive sound and engaging stage presence.
