Stenoserende is a term used in medicine to describe a condition where a passage within the body becomes narrowed. This narrowing, known as stenosis, can affect various anatomical structures and can lead to a range of symptoms depending on the location and severity of the obstruction.

Common sites for stenoserende conditions include blood vessels, such as arteries and veins, where it can impede blood flow and potentially cause ischemia or infarction. The heart valves can also become stenotic, restricting blood flow from one chamber to another and leading to conditions like aortic stenosis or mitral stenosis. The gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and respiratory passages are also susceptible to narrowing.
