Sprängvågorna, also known as the Explosion Waves, were a series of explosions that occurred in the Swedish city of Malmö during the summer of 1998. The events were a result of a series of coordinated bombings carried out by the far-right extremist group National Socialist Underground (NSU). The explosions targeted both Jewish and non-Jewish individuals, as well as a police station, a mosque, and a synagogue. The attacks resulted in the deaths of five people and the injury of over 100 others.
