The term blends "spammer" with the honorific "king" to denote mastery, notoriety, or dominance in spamming activities; it sometimes appears as a username or nickname in forums, chat rooms, or social networks, often with tongue-in-cheek or critical connotations.

Spammerkings typically engage in one or more forms of spam, including mass email campaigns, automated comments or messages, link spamming in forums, social media, or messaging apps. Campaigns may be coordinated through automation tools or botnets and target broad audiences with promotional or deceptive content, misleading links, or scams.
