soitta
Soitta is a small rural community located in the southeastern part of Finland, within the region of Uusimaa. The locality covers an area of approximately 12 square kilometres and, as of the latest census, has a population of around 320 residents, giving it a low population density typical of many Finnish villages. Geographically, Soitta lies near the banks of the Loviisa River, whose watershed has historically supported local agricultural activities and small-scale fishing. The surrounding landscape is characterised by mixed forests and gently rolling farmland, a landscape that remains largely unchanged from the 18th century.
