Skewsymetryczne is a Polish term that translates to "skew-symmetric" in English. It is a property applied to matrices in linear algebra. A square matrix A is called skew-symmetric if its transpose is equal to its negative. Mathematically, this is expressed as Aᵀ = -A.

This property implies that the elements on the main diagonal of a skew-symmetric matrix must all be zero. This is because for any diagonal element aᵢᵢ, the condition aᵢᵢᵀ = -aᵢᵢ must hold. Since the transpose of a diagonal element is itself (aᵢᵢᵀ = aᵢᵢ), this leads to aᵢᵢ = -aᵢᵢ, which is only possible if aᵢᵢ = 0. Furthermore, for any off-diagonal elements, the element at position (i, j) must be the negative of the element at position (j, i). That is, aᵢⱼ = -aⱼᵢ for all i ≠ j.
