Sinangle is a term that may refer to the sine of an angle, or to uses of the sine function in relation to an angle. It is not a standard mathematical operator and is not used as a formal symbol in major references. When encountered, sinangle is usually an informal or contextual shorthand, a variable name, or a programming identifier rather than a defined function.

In mathematics, the sine of an angle θ, denoted sin(θ), is a fundamental trigonometric function. For a right triangle, sin(θ) equals the ratio of the length of the side opposite θ to the hypotenuse. On the unit circle, sin(θ) corresponds to the y-coordinate of the point obtained by rotating from the positive x-axis by angle θ.
