Shpejta is a term that appears in Albanian-language usage with reference to speed and swiftness. It is not a standard dictionary entry in Modern Albanian; more common terms for speed are shpejtia or shpejtësi. Shpejta tends to occur in dialectal, poetic, or archaic contexts as a feminine noun derived from the adjective shpejt meaning fast, with the suffix -a.
