When a long click occurs on a View that has an OnLongClickListener set, the View calls the onItemLongClick method of the listener. This method receives three arguments: the View that was long-clicked, the position of the item within an AdapterView (if applicable, such as in a ListView or GridView), and the row ID of the item. The method should return a boolean value. Returning true indicates that the listener has consumed the event, and no further processing should occur. Returning false allows the event to be handled by other listeners or the default view behavior.

This listener is particularly useful for implementing contextual actions or providing secondary options that don't require a regular click.
