Semantinis is an adjective in Lithuanian that denotes relation to semantics or to meaning in language and representation. It is derived from the root semant- (from the Greek semantikos, meaning signifying) with the Lithuanian suffix -inis to form an adjective. In general use, semantinis describes matters connected to meaning, sense, interpretation, or signification.

In linguistics, semantics is the branch that studies meaning in language, and semantinis describes aspects related to that meaning.
