Selênê is the ancient Greek goddess of the Moon. She is the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and the sister of Helios, the sun god, and Eos, the dawn goddess. Selênê is often depicted as a beautiful woman with flowing robes, driving a chariot across the night sky pulled by two horses or two white bulls. Her Roman equivalent is Luna.
