sagedusnihe
Sagedusnihe, often translated as frequency shift, refers to a phenomenon where the frequency of a wave changes. This change can occur due to several factors, most notably the Doppler effect. In the context of the Doppler effect, sagedusnihe happens when there is relative motion between the source of the wave and the observer. If the source and observer are moving towards each other, the observed frequency increases, a phenomenon known as blueshift for light waves. Conversely, if they are moving away from each other, the observed frequency decreases, a phenomenon known as redshift.
Beyond the Doppler effect, sagedusnihe can also arise from changes in the medium through which the wave
