Saadetavad is an Estonian term formed from the verb saata (to send) with the present passive participle suffix, and it functions as an adjective meaning “to be sent” or “to be dispatched.” In practice, saadetavad describes items, messages, or data that are planned or intended for transmission. The form is most commonly used with plural nouns, for example saadetavad kaubad (goods to be sent) or saadetavad kirjad (letters to be sent). It can also occur in reference to data or tasks that are scheduled for sending, such as saadetavad andmed (data to be transmitted) or saadetavad tööülesanded (tasks to be sent/forwarded).

Grammar and usage notes: saadetav is the singular form, while saadetavad is the masculine plural nominative form used with plural nouns. Because it is a participial adjective, saadetavad agrees in number and case with the noun it modifies. In many contexts, the phrase expresses a forward-looking action relative to the present moment, i.e., items that have not yet been sent. The counterpart of saadetavad in the past tense is saadetud, meaning “sent” as in completed dispatch.
