rézfúvósok
Rézfúvósok is the Hungarian term for brass musical instruments. This family of instruments is characterized by its construction from brass tubing and by the method of sound production, which involves the vibration of the player's lips against a cup- or funnel-shaped mouthpiece. The pitch is altered by changing the embouchure (the way the player shapes their mouth) and by using a mechanism to change the length of the tubing. In most brass instruments, this mechanism is a set of valves, though some, like the trombone, use a slide.
The basic members of the rézfúvósok family include the trumpet, cornet, French horn, euphonium, baritone horn,
The development of brass instruments has a long history, with early forms dating back to ancient times.
