rádiójátékok, also known as radio dramas or radio plays, are audio performances created specifically for broadcast on radio. They combine spoken dialogue, music, sound effects, and occasionally narration to tell stories without the visual element common to television or film. The genre emerged in the early 20th century as radio technology advanced and found widespread popularity during the "Golden Age of Radio" roughly from the 1920s to the 1950s.
