revoyait

Revoyait is the third-person singular imperfect indicative form of the French verb revoir, meaning to see again or to review. As an imperfect tense, revoyait describes an action that was ongoing, habitual, or in progress in the past, rather than a completed past event.

Etymology and morphology: Revoir is formed from re- (again) plus voir (to see). The imperfect uses the stem revoy- with the standard imperfect ending -ait for il/elle: il revoyait; elle revoyait.
