Republicanos is the Spanish term for supporters of a republic, or for political actors who advocate republicanism as a form of government in which sovereignty rests with the people and power is limited by a constitution rather than inherited or autocratic authority. The word is used across Spanish-speaking countries to describe both generic advocates of republican governance and specific political movements that adopt republican principles.
