Refrescasteis is the second-person plural preterite (simple past) form of the Spanish verb refrescar, used with the vos­otros subject. It denotes a completed action in the past carried out by the group addressed. The construction follows the regular -ar verb pattern in the vos­otros past tense, combining the stem refresc- with the ending -asteis.

Regional usage and alternatives: In Spain, where the vos­otros form is common, refrescar is often conjugated as refrescasteis for you all in the past. In many Latin American varieties, the vos­otros forms are not used, and past actions by a group are usually expressed with ustedes and the third-person plural preterite, as in refrescaron. The reflexive form os refrescasteis exists when the sentence means you refreshed yourselves.

Morphology notes: The form is part of the regular -ar verb paradigm. It can be used transitively, as in refreshing something, or reflexively when the subject performs the action on themselves (os refrescasteis). For example, vosotros os refrescasteis means you refreshed yourselves.
