Rasúls, also known as apostles or messengers, are a significant concept within several monotheistic religions, particularly Islam. In Islamic theology, a rasúl is a prophet who has been divinely appointed to convey a new religious law or scripture to humanity. While all rasúls are prophets, not all prophets are considered rasúls. The distinction lies in the reception of a new divine message intended for a specific community or humanity at large.
