Párolgáskondenzáció is a Hungarian term that describes a natural process involving both evaporation and condensation. It refers to the cyclical change of state where a substance, typically water, transitions from a liquid to a gaseous state (evaporation) and then back to a liquid state (condensation). This phenomenon is a fundamental part of the Earth's water cycle.

The process begins with evaporation, where energy, usually from solar radiation, causes liquid water from bodies like oceans, lakes, and rivers, as well as from soil and vegetation, to transform into water vapor, an invisible gas. This water vapor then rises into the atmosphere. As the moist air ascends and cools, it reaches a point where the water vapor can no longer remain in its gaseous form. This leads to condensation, where the water vapor changes back into tiny liquid water droplets or ice crystals.

These small droplets or crystals cluster together to form clouds. When these droplets or crystals become sufficiently large and heavy, they fall back to Earth as precipitation in various forms such as rain, snow, sleet, or hail. This precipitation then replenishes the water sources on the surface, allowing the cycle of párolgáskondenzáció to continue indefinitely.
