Clinically, psychosis refers to symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking and is part of defined psychiatric disorders. Psychoticism, in personality theory, denotes traits associated with aggressiveness, impulsivity, or detachment from reality, and is distinct from clinical psychosis.
