propellertype
Propellertype refers to the classification of propellers based on various characteristics. One common distinction is between fixed-pitch and variable-pitch propellers. Fixed-pitch propellers have blades set at a single angle, offering simplicity and lower cost but less optimal performance across a wide range of speeds. Variable-pitch propellers, also known as controllable-pitch propellers, allow the blade angle to be adjusted. This adjustment can be automatic, controlled by the engine's RPM and manifold pressure, or manual, allowing the pilot to select the optimal pitch for different flight conditions. This adaptability improves efficiency and performance.
Another classification is based on the number of blades. Propellers can have two, three, four, or even
