Projekní is a Czech adjective historically used to denote something related to projection or the concept of projection. It is formed from the noun projekt or projekce with the suffix -ní and is related to the more common modern form projekční. In contemporary Czech, projekční is the standard adjective for “projective” or “pertaining to projection,” while projekní survives mainly in older texts, regional speech, or specialized contexts.

Historically, projekní appears in earlier mathematical, optical, or technical writings to describe projection-related properties before projekční became the prevailing term. In modern usage, most technical literature would prefer projekční to describe projective geometry, projective transforms, or projection devices. Because projekní is largely archaic or stylistically marked, its appearance can signal a historical or dialectal register.

In practice, projekní can be found in phrases from older books or in studies of linguistic archaisms, as well as in some niche or poetic contexts that aim to convey a sense of antiquity.
