produïts

Produïts is a Catalan term formed as the masculine plural past participle of the verb produir, meaning produced or manufactured. Grammatically, it agrees with the noun it modifies: singular forms are produït (masc.) and produïda (fem.), while the plural forms are produïts (masc.) and produïdes (fem.). In use, produïts functions as an adjective or as a past participle to indicate goods that have undergone production or come out of a manufacturing process.

In economic and statistical language, béns produïts (produced goods) are the output generated by industry and firms. The expression is common in official reports, business documentation, and regulatory texts to distinguish goods that result from production from other categories such as services or raw materials. It can appear in phrases such as valor dels béns produïts (value of produced goods) or nivell de producció de béns produïts (level of production of produced goods).

The term is closely related to, but distinct from, productes. While productes refers to products or goods available for use or sale, produïts emphasizes the act of production and the finished goods resulting from it. In everyday speech, Catalan speakers may prefer productes to describe items for sale, reserving produïts for formal, technical, or statistical contexts.
